Creation & Processing Time

Every piece is made by hand, just for you. Please allow up to a week after placing your order for your jewelry to be created, carefully finished, and sealed with ProtectaClear (if specified) to help preserve its beauty. You have the option of leaving your copper pieces bare with no sealant.

If your order includes a custom design, additional time may be needed depending on the complexity—but don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated along the way. Make sure to check your spam box for any direct emails from me about your order.

Product Features

All handmade pieces feature either bare copper, .925 sterling silver, or both! I only use semi-precious gemstones and sometimes a Swarovski crystal or two. Made in the USA, shipped directly from Virginia. 

Materials & Care

By your choice, your piece can be been given an added feature of an anti-tarnish coating, but tarnish is bound to happen. The easiest way to keep your piece shiny is to wash it regularly with mild soap, warm water, and towel dry. Even better yet - use a sonic jewelry cleaner. You can keep a polishing cloth on hand for an extra step. You can add on my favorite polishing cloth from Sunshine when adding to cart. 

For protection when not wearing, store in an air tight bag with a moisture absorber. You can’t avoid tarnish with true earth metals, but these few simple steps will ensure shine for as long as possible.

Yes! All pieces are made from genuine sterling silver or copper, which are nickel-free and safe for sensitive skin.

Will my jewelry tarnish?

Are these pieces adjustable?

Since every item is handmade, slight variations in texture, shape, or color are normal and make your piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Can I wear this in water or while sleeping?

To prolong the life and shine of your jewelry, remove it before swimming, bathing, or sleeping.

The earrings you see here were made from a shell my husband found for me on Chincoteague Beach, Virginia, during our 25th wedding anniversary. That tiny shell is now a piece of jewelry I'll wear forever. Shells dry out, crack, and crumble over time — but fine silver doesn't. Your memory, preserved.

How It Works

  • Purchase this listing to reserve your custom order
  • After checkout, I'll email you two prepaid shipping labels and simple mailing instructions. Both label costs are included in the price.
  • Print the first label, pack your shell securely, and mail it to my studio. Please send just one shell so I can make a mold from it.
  • I'll hand-form two matching fine silver shells, fire them, and finish your earrings to a beautiful silver sheen.
  • I'll use the second prepaid label to ship your finished earrings back to the shipping address on your order.

Shell Guidelines

  • Shell must be under 1" in diameter
  • Flat or gently curved shells like the one shown work best for earring forms
  • Just one shell is all you need — I do the rest
  • Natural condition is fine; shells do not need to be perfect
